Wanted to ramble - its late now and I have my driving theory test in the morning.
Anyway - couple of nice photos I took tonight. Nothing special, but kinda of nice angles and skies... Hardly professional!
Was a nice sunset - shame the street lights weren't on for that electric light fizz.
Louie and Luca were there waiting for me. They may pretend to be cats - but they are really secret agents from the Planet Zog. Watching, waiting, watching...
BTW - That dreadful blue painting is not mine... Mrs Dio Bach likes it so - it came from her mums.
Here's me answers - If you should copy and paste this, leave the link on - viral traffic and all! ;)
Okay, here's what you're supposed to do...and try not to spoil the fun.
Just give in. Copy (not forward) this entire e-mail and paste it onto a new e-mail that you will send. Change all the answers so that they apply to you. It takes 5 minutes to do, so you have time! Then, send this to a whole bunch of people you know "INCLUDING" the person who sent it to you. The theory is that you will learn a lot of little known facts about your family and friends. It is fun and easy.... (http://diobach.blogspot.com)

Listening to this sublime Nico (featuring John Cale) album on the old headphones this morning, and went to take a look at it on Amazon to write a mini review for you all to try and persuade you to go out an buy it... Get there and discover I have already written a review! Forgot all about that one - it is a good few years old - the only thing wrong is I can't see why I only gave it 4 out of 5.
This album still sounds light years ahead of its time. Dreamscapes and weirdness. I love it. Take a listen one day. I remember I wrote a load of reviews on Amazon a while back (early 2000.) I will have to hunt through for some more one day.

Out and about yesterday with the camera again. Went to this place just over the road which I've never been too before called Insole Court. I've driven past several hundred times but never been there - it just looked like a little strip of park.It has a very unassuming entrance on the main road.
So I went to check it out - I was amazed, there is in fact a massive Edwardian Gothic Revival house with great gargoyles and carvings. It nestles in some nice gardens. Bleak at the moment but in the summer they will be grand. I can see this becoming a regular lunchtime haunt for me. Very impressive. Definitely worth taking a B&W down to get some nice moody shots of the carvings and that. The digital just doesn't do it justice.
Its amazing to find a little gem like this, hidden in its own hollow between two main roads. You can see more in the Web Gallery (as well as more from around Llandaff).
Here are a few for you now...
And some nice ones from Llandaff Cathedral (yes, yet more tombstones...)
That's how cold it is today. Took twenty minutes for my face to thaw when I got into work. I really should buy a hat. Every time I've picked one up recently I have put it back thinking it to be the last of the cold snaps.
I never learn.
You may notice all earlier blog posts are messed up in their formatting. I turned of the convert line breaks option in blogger to make the MozBlog plug-in [DEAD LINK] work a bit better. It makes blogging easy from me browser, right click and blog it! I can then use the basic HTML to do the formatting and it works straight off when I upload to blogspot. It means I need to go through and add br tags to the rest of the blog though… Ah well, one day.
Took some nice photos in town over the weekend, as well as uploading a few more web gallerie [DEAD LINK]
Here are a few.
Ukes of hazzard [link] Check these guys - watch the Gay Boyfriend video - If you don't spend the next week singing this song - well - you are so cold. This will be massive.
I have been soooo busy all week. Farting around with stuff not that important but none the less time consuming. I set up loads of PhotoShop automation processes - droplets, actions etc, to make processing me Digital photos a breeze.
The plan is to share my mass of new images, rather than having just the odd one or two as I do now. Anyway, the first one is up, and there is a lot of tarting up to do, like a new index page for the top director and the likes, but here is the first of my web galleries [DEAD LINK].
It is all the stuff taken around Llandaff since the start of the year. There will be a lot more coming soon.
They are in a very raw state as well, some could do with croping at Level adjustment, but hell - there just ain't the time so you can 'ave 'em like this.
Another one of those utter pieces of comic genius you get on the web every now and again. Click on the guy's user name to read his other posts. Review of Two Weeks Later
Phew - the PC is settling down after its upgrade - I'm starting to get it running how I want and now I can sort out some of the nice shots I've taken over the last 2 weeks to share with you.
So here we go...
Today, lovely sky over the Severn, very interested in clouds, reflections and my old Casper David Friedrich fixation of lonely figures on the beach staring at the sea (Mrs Dio Bach)
I did some nice stuff round 'da graveyard t'other day too... This first one was sort of a very weird angle. Something about the in the midst of death, spring is sprunging, new life and all...
Then I was touched by these leaning graves - as well as its weird angle, I am also very impressed with the weird day-glo moss on them. Put the camera on the ground and took these blind...
It was cold too... some lovely strange ice formations caught my eye...
It amazes me too... a lot of these graves are like about a 100 years old. You can barely read them. Time will win out. Rock reduced to a stump in a century... I took a few gnarled and unreadable stones, heres, what I mean...
So enough of the tombstones already... I had a nice trip to me nans last weekend. Took some nice photos of my family whilst I was there. I can just go to this room and chill to the most chillest state in the world... Typical family Saturday kind of deal...
And last weekend we went out ot St Fagans again (spelt it right this week..) for a cuppa and shop browse... Weird stormy weekend - the sky looked like it was being sucked upwards - got these cloudy shots to show the weird air movements...
And that is your photorific tour of the last week over... Hope you enjoyed it...
[Dead Image]Haven't done one for months now, so I thought I had better give it a go after a long break, see if I was still as *cough* good as what I used to be...
Plus I got some training in Image Ready yesterday, so wanted to try that instead of Movie Gear - sort of got there, but ended up going back to Movie Gear...
Anyway, this week's challenge is to come up with some new and confusing Cockney rhyming slang - the best I could do was Fraggle Rock (cock) and this is my animation for it... So there. I now realise many of my animations have a sub-navel theme... Ah well...
By all accounts... Desperately busy trying to fill my page with content to keep you interested before I put the next lot of lovely photos up... :)
Sexy-like Vampire What type of vampire are you? brought to you by Quizilla
It has been a busy couple of days. I spent the whole weekend installing a new Hard Drive and upgrading the PC to run Windows XP - hence no postings. A shame, I've got a load of nice new photos from the Graveyard to share. Once I get the PC peachy I'll put some up.
Had to do a few things I've ever done before - one was particularly sphincter wobbling. Put the drive in, PC couldn't see it. Eeek! Thought I'd been sent a duff drive. Fiddled for ages then decided that maybe a BIOS update would help. Downloaded the BIOS from the board makers site and managed to get it to work without ruining the PC. No thanks to them - they had two sets of different instructions on how to do it, both wrong…
Installed XP (been avoiding it for ages and moaning about it) but I had the 'nice' version which did away with the bits I was particularly unhappy with… ;)
Amazingly, it all worked 'out of the box' - no drivers to install, fiddling, configuration etc - amazingly easy. Some of the drivers need updating, but other than that - well impressed. Nice features as well for browsing images and renaming multiple files. Makes me wonder why I moaned about it so long.
