Strange Old Day...

Been a bit of a busy strange old day today. This is my third day without Nicoteen. Those who know me have known me to be a keen smoker for many years (shit, about 13!) and one who would rather smoke dogends off the pavement than go without.

I've tried many times to give up. Usually using the willpower/cold turkey method. Up til now its been miserable trying. After reading Allen Carr's Easy Way to Stop Smoking, I feel great! This is my third day, I don't feel distressed or panicy or scared. I think this time it is permanent. This book is a real life changer. Give it to someone who wants to quit, they will thank you for ever.

I'm enjoying being of the cigarettes. I'm a bit high to tell you the truth, as my brain is getting a lot more oxygen than its used too. Feels great though. Yay.

Why a strange old day though? Well, been a bank holiday Monday, but I've been busy, whilst Mrs Dio has been out most of the day working...

Still doing the finishing touches to my new game site and I've been on a burning CD rampage as well (which is a pain as it means I can't do anything else as I'm waiting for that to finish.) Seven audio CDs, made up from such greats as Spacemen 3 and Loop. All stuff I owned on record but downloaded from Audio galaxy to save me playing the vinyl again (sad man me.)

Oh, and just to top it all, a house spider gave me a nasty bite on the hand. So far no sign of anaflaxtic shock (I can't even pretend to know how to spell it...)
