The Saddest Thing...

I've seen in a long time. Just as I was about to leave for work, I went into the downstairs loo, looked in the pan and saw...

Sitting on the bottom, rearing up on its' hind legs, a mouse. Just sat there, eyes wide open, as though hiding and looking up to the surface of the water.

Looking straight at me. Poor thing, it must have escape the terrible mouse murderers you see on the right, climbed up the pipe, fallen in and just sat there struggling to survive.

It upset me for some strange reason, just the way it was sat there staring up at me, all relaxed looking.

On the plus side though, it was very easy to dispose of. One quick flush and it was away...
