Blimey...

Phew, a day of firsts yesterday... Firstly, spent the whole day without actually going online and or a PC... That must be the first time in about 18 months that I've managed that. True to form the hotmail account was full of spam (thank god for the Junk Mail folder)

I also went on a magical mystery tour... Arrived at work 8.00. Boarded a mini bus. Didn't know where we were going. Suspected The Gower, about 45mins to the west of Cardiff. 2 hours later we were still driving east, which meant I was out of Wales for the first time in probably 2 years, and heading in to the heart of the great unknown (and avoid at all costs) of Engerland...

Eventually we turned up at the surprise location, none other than THE HENLEY REGATTA!!!! Yes, little old rough in combats and a tee, common as muck, Welsh as muck, with a load of similar like minded Welsh people me, at the complete Snobby wank fest that is the Henley Regatta... It's like part of 'The Season' FFS! The poshest of the rich, and the richest of the posh... What a laugh...

The looks on the faces of the blazer wearing public school boys as we lept out of our minibus was priceless. If a cartload of chimps had pulled up, they couldn't have looked more disgusted. We had a good spot, close to the river, and looked in amazement at the riches around us.

I amused myself by flicking mud off my shoes onto the backs of the popmpous, boating bloke's white trousers. We had a nice picnic, Tesco grub in amongst the tables full of Waitrose, M+S and Sainsbury grub, eaten off picnic tables with tidy clothes silver candalbra and posh cutlery. We hawked meat and cheese down with our fingers...

Never in the field of humanity, has so many people, with their heads so far up their arses been seen...
